This is a Suzuki 2005 dr 200se. It has been in the garage of a friend for a while without being run, and seafoam had been added to the gas. When I cranked it up today the exhaust became red hot coming right out of the engine. Any suggestions as to what the problem is?

My guess would be the fuel mixture is wrong. Either too rich or lean will do that.
Are you sure the choke wasn't left on?

Did you clean the mice out of the exhaust? Could be partly clogged exhaust.
Ok I will check both of those. We did have to choke for a little initially but have not noticed it being red hot in that short a period before
