I have a 1980 Honda C70 Passport. I have an electrical short somewhere. When I turn on the ignition switch, It instantly blows the 15A fuse. I know I have a short somewhere, but I don't know where to look. I have replaced the ignition switch , the rear light assembly, starter solenoid, and rectifier, but still blowing fuses. Does anyone have a proper wiring diagram for this scooter? Thanks in advance

1. pull all fuses
2. measure resistance between both legs of each fuse-holder to chassis-ground
3. fuse 1 in, ohms = ???
4. fuse 1 out, ohms = ???
5. fuse 2 in, ohms = ???
6. fuse 2 out, ohms = ???
7. etc, etc,

one of these tests will show a number that point to exactly what's wrong and how to fix it

Want instant results without putting any work in...
Then again, don't have experience or skillz to do the work...

I was on my way home from day @ beach in Santa Barbara...
And I saw this kid/teenager walking his bicycle in shoulder looking very dejected.
I turned around to see what's up, probably flat.
Nope both tyres look good..
Turned out his chain had fallen off when he shifted!!
So I grabbed bike, leaned it to right, spun pedal backwards to pick up chain,
DONE!! In less than 5-seconds!

Then I took more time to fish out toolkit from under seat for screwdriver.
To adjust derailleur limit screws so it doesn't throw chain off when he shifted.
He looked at me like I was an alien performing un-Worldly magic tricks!!! ahhahahahA!!!
Kids nowadays....:rofl2:

De-railers can be a real nightmare if you have never had that kind of bike . Very simple if you have done as many as I have .. Assembled bikes for 8 yrs. Assemblers Inc. Over 30,000 bikes built ... many many repairs .....

Yeah, like when the clerk punched $25 in the computer/register instead of the $15 I handed her for my $12.86 purchase so she had no idea how much change to give me for the purchase. She ran for here phone to figure it out.. I stopped her and showed her how to count change back, twice. She said WOW that is a lot easier than the way they showed me. I wonder if she passed on my "new way" of making change? Oh course she could have just pretended the 2 in the 25 was a 1 but I decided not to overload her with more simple logic.
Oh well.

It would be so good for the children if they taught the "Three R's" before anything else .

I too am appalled at how few cashiers know how to count change .

At the same time, I catch them making 'mistakes' in my change, fully how I never get too much back, only shorted .

Then they act all pissy when I talk to their managers .

Yes, they should count back, once you get the hang of it it's easier and helps the cashier when those who try to claim they gave you a $20 when they gave you a $10 and so on .

I always repeat whatever they told me was the total along with the size of the bill I'm hading over .

EG : O.K., 'that's $18.93 out of $20' .
