I'd been hearing about blind spot mirrors for while but didn't think they'd make much of a difference. Yesterday I did my own test on my Vulcan S. Do any of you use them?
Yes, I put them on my last three motorcycles with fairing mounted mirrors. They are helpful in several circumstances, particularly when merging onto a freeway or changing lanes on a multi-lane road.
I use the larger 3 inch ones on my truck. They're excellent. I never thought about using them on my motorcycle. Before changing lanes, I'll check my mirrors, then I'll look over my shoulder to make sure nothing is there.
I use them only on my RZR side-by-side that I drive in traffic all the time. I find that while they are not good at judging distance, they do well to see blind spots for some movement or vehicle.
