By dogs.
When I get to my friends house I have to hurry away from bike because dogs are jumpers. This time it went fast and I never turned ignition off, only the power. Yup dead next morning!
I tend to panic and freak a bit but it only took an hour from start to finish to leave.
So I had to get gas and then go meet someone. A guy stopped and asked if everything was ok, I was pacing and had bike running. I explained and he talked me into shutting it off because it would be fine and if not he could help me. Lol. It was fine
Hi Paula, Maybe your friend could put dog/s in back yard till you get there and bike is o.k..
Glad a nice man stopped to ask if you needed help and was able to if needed.
When I bought my 91Sporty, H-D in New Port Richie didn't do anything to the bike as it was
a 'trade-in' the ignition had to be original as it was so worn key could be 'ON' and still be removed.
Well that led to a dead battery quite often until I came back to the house and it was just getting,
dark,I reached down and without realizing it pulled the key out and lights are still on. like what the heck
is this? So next day I put in a new ignition switch, no more dead battery.
