We have a last hand drawn pontoon in South Africa close by at Malgas over the Breede river
The old pont is being replaced by a mechanical monster and killing the old school pontoon of yesteryear
I was there a couple of months ago and had the time and wanted to go and check if the old one is still operational
Just outside town, we call it the pig's snout, dry now, so it's not running

Met up with a friend and onto the dirt, that's why we have dual purpose bikes

Windpomp as we call it

The old pontoon still in operation, but the the new one will take over shortly

After lunch at the hotel, it was heading back home
