A friend and I went out for a ride this morning
Started off nice and clear and about ten km's the fog rolled in, thick fog, I managed about 60 km/h just to see
Also wet and cold

And all of a sudden, the fog disappears, and what a lovely day

Old station of yesteryear

Old church dating 1865

View from the church

Genadendal, Moravian mission centre

Memorial of first world war

Greyton town, lunch break

And the bike turned 40 k

Going home

Another fabulous day in the saddle

Thanks for sharing. Looks like you had a great day! You're providing me with a lot of motivation to get off my duff and get out and ride!

Nice,

I like the picture of the memorial, particularly at this time of year. Interesting to look at the names, some may have been on opposing sides just a decade earlier. Young men who travelled half the world away and never came home. They should be remembered.

Those bikes on those gravel looking roads, just looks like fun! Beats heck out of the red clay and flintrocks around here. (Unless you're really into slicing up tires.) :)
