Ok my frame has been stretched so my rear brake linkage is too short I've seen old drive chains used as a mod , so the question is how to do this? I think this would be the quickest fix for my current issue

If its a cable, have one made at a customizing shop that fits. If it is a special type of linkage, you might be able to take it off and replace it with a custom one that will work. There is a thing called a cantilever, its a lever that works backwards to the power applied(where the pedal goes down, the brake lever goes down too) there is also a block and tackle approach to the chain link thing, which is what I think you are talking about. You will need to make a hanger for the chain, and then a block and tackle for the cable to connect to. If it were me, I would alter the linkage connection, and then put an extension on the cable with a housing that covered it all. just an idea.
