Cut some vintage motorcycle figures out of 1/8" steel with my home made CNC plasma table. I put as much detail as I could fit into the 19" long shapes.
Pretty much! I'm manually tracing over a photo of the actual bike in CorelDraw, and then converting them to dxf files before cutting them out. Here's one after I applied some paint to it:
Here are some shots of several home-made CNC cutting tables I have put together over the years. Current table on far left sits just outside basement door under deck. I keep it covered with a fire pit cover. Compressor, plasma cutter, and computer are just inside basement door. Cables can be connected in 5 minutes for use.
