Super Cub is very cool with 125cc and 17" wheels. I'd buy one over an electric bike or similar size scooter. Bolt a plastic milk case to that rear rack and you've got a utility vehicle!

I had a 150cc scooter many, many years ago and it was more fun than I can describe. It was my entry into the world of motorcycles. I love the look of the Super Cub and if the stock market gives me some help I might be able to swing a new one by next summer or so. My first thought when I saw the announcement by Honda was: why no electric version? I would use this little bike for zipping around town and running errands, but would retain my Goldwing for long distance rides and two up riding. For just running around town, an electric with a range of 80 to 100 miles would be perfect. Honda is also reintroducing the Monkey for American buyers. Looks like an improvement on the Grom but is a bit more costly than the Super Cub. Another reason I like the Super Cub is it reminds me of the old ads "You meet the nicest people on a Honda", and I am certainly one of the nicest people anyone could ever hope to meet!

That Super Cub may very have been my entry into the 2 wheel world but honestly don't know for sure. They used to rent little bike similar to it where I grew up and me and my best buddy rented two one day and had a blast. I don't think we put more than 35 miles on them but neither of us had every ridden anything more than a bicycle up to that point so we thought we rode all over the world. I know we certainly didn't have a motorcycle endorsement as it didn't exist back then. But the size of the bikes I'm just not sure. It looks like what we rode for sure. I might get one just to try and re-capture that new feeling as it would be new after riding much larger machines for years now. I'm certainly intrigued.

I've got dibs on the first Honda Monkey (further down in the article) my dealer gets.
When I was young I worked odd jobs for two years to save and buy a new Honda 50 "mini trail". But by then I out grew it and bought a Honda 70 instead. Forty eight years later I can get the ''mini trail'' that I can both fit on and afford today. :smile_big:

I’m not only nice, but the most humble person you would ever meet! And the more I think about the Super Cub the better I like it.
