Hey guys.
I own a 2015 honda cbr250r. I'm facing issues with my rear suspension. It seems to be too soft. I've had this bike for around 2 years now. I never experienced this issues in these two years except now. The rear suspension is adjustable and i tried adjusting it to make it a bit stiffer but the difference is not too much.
I feel there is something wrong with it. There seems to be some kind of a residue like oil on the spring. I took it to honda service and the guy there suggested to replace the rear shock completely. I don't know if i really need to replace it. Can anyone of you please help.

I would really appreciate if someone can suggest anything.

Sounds like the shock is leaking, if it is it needs to be replaced or rebuilt.

A shock seal, but it may not be replaceable.

I would replace both shocks. Since one is leaking the other one has been over worked.
