Primary coil (2 terminals) = 2.5-2.8ohm
Secondary is spark-output to metal of mounting holes = 12K ohm

Metal mounting point of coil must be bolted to metal of frame with steel bolt. Anything insulating coil-mounting from frame will prevent sparks from working.

You can also do functional test of verifying spark at plugs.

primary coil test - connect multimeter leads to 2 spade terminals on coil

secondary coil test - one probe on spark-output terminal, other probe on metal part of mounting hole.
