On my tablet can see a bigger version of that pic and the front tire looks flat to me, although the rear as Ron said the rear is not, on the Typical bikes that get darksided if the front and rear was done they refer to it as double darksided. Could not imagine riding a R1 at any speed with a CT on the front, woohoo!

Not quite. 60 years ago many riders might have put car tires on the front, but not these days. Sure, some might still, but that's not normal. To "double Darkside" means a car tire on the rear and a mc rear tire on the front. The front still retains its round profile but is often slightly wider and usually has more tread. That's why I am a "double Darksider." I have maybe 50-60% more rubber thickness on that rear tire and get perhaps 30,000 miles on one on the front.

'This truth, from my understanding that both versions is considered double darksiding because of using rubber with harder compounds that was not intended for that wheel. I can barely wrap my brain around all everyone's reasons for the reasons of failure and still hearing no one having problems with the tires or failure of any of the tires only confidence on said tires. However did look it up and the wiki version agrees with you and I stand corrected.

Id go darksiding in a millisecond but realized I cant find a scooter tire for my burgman 400 and here on the other side of the pond the tire needs to match the rgistration paper specs to be legit.

darksiding saves 300% in cost at minimum
