Can I use my Car to Charge my Motorcycle Battery?

Your battery is probably shot though. Personally, I don't own a battery tender. I've never pulled the battery while storing the bike for winter. I'll start it maybe once or twice during the winter months and have never had a problem. For me, if I need a tender, I need a new battery.
While your method is apparently working for you.....Id much rather shell out $9 for a battery tender then go out in below zero weather and cold start my bike. Not to mention the fact that unless your riding it and getting it to operating temperature your doing your bike a dis-service by letting it run a short time and then turning it back off.

Not to mention there are some of my bikes I dont ride for quite a while....so even in the summer they set on battery tenders. For those of us with multiple rides they are a life saver. They really extend the life of a battery. Just last year I replaced the battery in the KZ1000.....it was dated 1998.

Just replaced the factory battery in my 1999 A.C.E. and it never saw a tender. Don't think I ever saw a tender on the batteries waiting to be sold either. Just sayin.
Motorcycle batteries in alot of cases are shipped and set dry before sale.

Ive worked in a few part stores.....we rotate the filled batteries. The oldest ones go to the back and get set on a charger....then put back. After rotating thru them a few times they go back.....I think the time limit was 18 months.

Environment plays a huge roll as well.
