This is really where my topic should be.
Finally it is a construction because it does not exist.
I do a restoration of some parts.
I make some changes to the reliability and security:

Way to be Herve' !

Nice shop. Ever think of wrapping the sleeve with a bnch of electrical tape, or squirting the thing full of silicone after you insert the sleeve?

Defined as "Not a US fix it job"... furthermore, in the US this fix would cost very near $500.00. cheap "NEW" risers, can be found just about anywhere...

I machined a two-piece riser bushing out of steel and used a spacer ring between the upper and lower bushing. As long as upper bushing sitss on the step inside of the riser the nut will hold everything tight.

Your risers look slightly different then the ones I have though.

The old new bushings are removed, install the ones I ordered will be quite simple.
