Hey!

I have a Suzuki Savage 02 and am actually trying to sell it. My younger bother sold it to me last year. However, I never got my own registration for the bike and there is no title or and the original bill of sale is nowhere to be found. My brother now lives in Italy and I am in (obv) Massachusetts.

What is the best way to go about selling the bike? Will I need my brother to secure the title with the outdated registration or can I still secure it on my own? Will I need to draft up a new bill of sale from my brother? HELP! Thank you!!

They allow registration without a title?

Check with the DMV on the procedure for obtaining a lost title. They will let you know what documentation is needed.

Furthermore, to support Dods approach, you SHOULD be able to track the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) thru a website info service designed for that purpose, to give you more info about the history of the bike.
