So today I dropped my bike. Thankfully no scratches or dents. But now both the oil pressure and coolant warning lights are on. Its a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 and i dropped it on the kick stand side. I let it sit for a few hours and cranked it back up... same thing. Any ideas?

This is my first bike, and I'm not much of a mechanic. Please keep that in mind.

When you wrote “dropped” do you mean it fell over sitting still or you wiped out. The reason I asked is wondering how hard it was hit?

It was sitting still. It didn't fall too hard, plus it has an engine guard with highway pegs (the previous owner put them on) which seems to have taken most or all of the impact.

Hmmm that’s one of those difficult ones. I doubt it hit hard enough to fubar your sensors, so if it were me I would open up your dash and wiggle a few wires and bulbs and see if it doesn’t clear up.

check your wiring coming of your sensors, chances are maybe something came unplugged or disconnected.
