What year did BMW come out with their reed valve breather for Boxer twins.

I'm not talking about the first one way valve but the later

thin stainless steel reed valve as shown in the photo. Part #1111 1 335 711 (1969 – 1995 boxer twins)

I don't think they came out in 1969 but much later.

Good info but no dates. See the photo of the motor. That year changed to a reed breather I think.

I'm researching the dates because I developed a reed valve sump breather for the Norton twin in the mid 1980s (with an EGR reed valve) and want to see similar reed valves and reed valve sump breathers in that era.

I'm also curious to know which came first - the Jawa speedway one way sump valve or the BMW one way breather (these earlier breathers were not reeds).
