Silly question maybe but can someone please tell me what kind of screws is that? Not sure if I missed it but couldn't find any info in the manual 馃檮 Need to order some spares and have no idea what to search for, the "triangle shaped" screw didn't cut it 馃檲 Thanks!!

Many thanks!! And I guess the tricky part now is trying to find these online, otherwise I would have to replace them all with another type of dzus fasteners...

I'm surprised that BMW didn't include that Dzus fastener tool in the kit that came with the bike.

I'm honestly not sure if those came with the bike or with the Givi side boxes rack mount but couldn't find any reference to them in both Givi and BMW manuals 馃

That's not good. Maybe you should try contacting Givi and/or BMW about obtaining the tool. Also consider measuring one side of the triangle and then looking for a 'Triangle Security' bit or driver of that size. There are also a couple of online videos on how to remove and tighten such fasteners without a 'triangle security' bit or driver (not sure if you should try this tho).

Ohhh I actually do have the driver in my repair kit but it's the fasteners that I'm looking for! Need to replace two of them so I'm trying to find the exact ones, otherwise I would have to replace them all with another model 馃槙

Sorry Boustany, but I was wrong about those being Dzus fasteners. I think they're know as Givi's 'Eazy Lock' (1/4 turn?) fasteners. I searched Givi's website for these without success. I'd call or email Givi at this point. Good luck!

This is indeed very helpful, sounds like it's my best bet at this point. Thank you so much! Will keep you posted!

I'd be grinding a piece of solid round rod stock on the bench grinder to make that tool tip in 5 minutes.

Specialized tools just for the sake of them is so crunk.

It's not the tool he needs, it's the fasteners he wants to replace

Just sayin'.............you know what somebody will want for it. I would likely be finding another fastener as well, worthless one-off specialty stuff like that sends me off a cliff.
