Make sure the battery terminals are clean before anything. Then check the battery wires at the starter, solenoid, and the ground wire at the frame. Then you may have to take the starter switch apart and clean the contacts ( my Virago did that after sitting all winter one year).
Bike wont start
Trying to figure out what would cause my bike not to start. It had to sit for 3 weeks without starting, when I went to ride, I got nothing. The battery has a full charge but it won't even click. I check the ignition switch and followed the wires looking for breaks, still not starting. Before I go tearing into the starter, what else should I troubleshoot?

Depends on the bike. Check some of the safety switches, like the kickstand or clutch switch, if you have one.
