Hi legends!
I’m thinking about upgrading my bike. At the moment I’m riding a Honda Cb900 hornet, from 2003.
I really love them at bike, nice and smooth in the city traffic and enjoyable in the countryside. Unfortunately cause of the old age is giving me some headaches lately...

I’ve been looking around and I’m kinda interested in the new Honda Cb1000R.
The bike looks amazing and all the reviews that I found online are positive.
But I still have to find comments about people that actually purchased it for private use.

Anybody actually tried it out and can give me an honest opinion about it?
I’m a bit worried about the power increase, around 35hp more, and the agility in the city traffic.

Thanks!

If the weight is the same or less, I would go for the new machine. The additional power is not going to be noticeable unless you thwack on the throttle. The weight will always be noticeable. The Honda is a very long time refined engine, it should be a smooth and predictable universal Japanese four inline motorcycle engine. No personality and completely reliable.
