I recently pasted the MFS course and now I'm waiting till the winter time to find a good deal on a bike. I'm 5'8 and 300lbs, are there any specific motorcycles you would recommend for a beginner like me? Here are some bikes I'm interested in.

Kawasaki Ninja 400
Kawasaki Ninja 650
Kawasaki Versys 650
Kawasaki Z650
Suzuki SV650
Suzuki GSX s750z (I really like this one)

I have been riding my Honda cbr650f for 6 years now. It's easy to ride and it's a 4 cyl. and has good power. If you are not in a hurry try renting some of the above bikes and see which one suits you.

Won't know until you sit on 'em! I will say a 750 is not a good starter bike, though.

TBH I like the MT-07 alot but I hear alot of bad things about the front suspension. Is being 300lbs a deal breaker for any of these bikes?

Almost every bike comes too soft from the factory, so most riders 200+ should plan on changing out the front fork springs at the very least. Not necessarily a deal breaker and, knowing you'd have to do it for any of them, maybe go ahead and get that MT!

You could run the stock setup while you are still getting used to riding, but once you start pushing it, you'll want to get springs (maybe rear, too) that better match your weight.

So I ride a Z650. I think it can be a very good first bike. Along with the Ninja 650, MT07, etc. However, these bikes are best for someone who is mature as a learning rider. These are plenty capable of getting you in trouble if you're not being smart out there.

The SV650 has a cult following almost. Fantastic bike. MT07 as well, and plenty of people love the Ninja and Z650 as they're basically the time thing.

Any of the bikes I just mentioned are capable of beating many sports cars driving around when it comes to 0-60 times. So just beware they are "Beginner" but it's like handing a Corvette to a new driver. You can do it, but just don't jump in too fast.

It's awesome that you're considering beginner-friendly motorcycles like the Z650, Ninja 650, MT07, and SV650. These bikes have garnered quite a following and are known for their performance. However, you're absolutely right that it's important to approach them with maturity and responsibility as a learning rider. They can pack quite a punch and it's essential to ride smart out there.

Speaking of bikes, if you're looking for exclusive Harley tuning services, you should definitely check out https://don-performance.com/en/. They offer a range of options to elevate your Harley riding experience. Remember, just like with any powerful machine, it's important to take it step by step and not rush into things.
