Auto Start/ Battery

Hi all,

This is a great forum, I registered just now,

This is my first post :
I bought a 125cc bike ( SuperSplendor,hero honda ).
Occasionally, For starting I used the Autostart button and simultaneously pulling the accelerator .

I have noticed ,most of the times recently, the auto start does not work . I contaced the service man, he is now recharging the battery .
My Questions :
1. Did the wrong usage of auto start ( pressing the button and accelerating at the same time ) cause the problem, only later I knew the pressing of button only suffices the start ...

2. It is only 3 months old bike, is recharging of battery so early Ok ?

Auto start like electric start? You really should just start it and not open the throttle while the starter is turning. it may have damaged the starter motor.

2. It is only 3 months old bike, is recharging of battery so early Ok ?

Yes but it could indecate a problem with the battery unless you left the key or lights on or something is draining the battery.
