i was wondering what kind of jacket i should get, between just a basic armored jacket or like a "hit-air" air bag jacket, how much would an air bag jacket + armor help?

Are you referring to the new suit that has the inflatable airbags once an impact occurs made by Dianese? Based on a few videos I've seen on it, it holds a lot of potential. Once it deploys though, say goodbye to the jacket. It's not a suit designed to be rugged. It takes one shot and its done. For the everyday rider, armord jackes/suits are great protection. Keep in mind that there is unfortunately no product guaranteed to save your life and no matter what you're wearing, high speed impact will seriously do a number on you.

According to me armored jacket is good for safety features and as well as for good looking. It feels you like you are not wearing a jacket at all but still gives you skid protection and has shoulder, elbow, and kidney pads.
