Joined when I started hunting for a Honda CX/GL 500. Seen a bunch, finally put money on a 1981 Honda GL500 Interstate

The other is a 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 ABS,

my 2nd brand new Ninja.

The paint on the 1981 is dang near flawless, needs some tlc.

On other model specific forums, but more input the better when I start wrenching on the 1981.

Nice! My very first bike was my father’s ‘83 GL650 Interstate. Same setup as yours only silver, and had the tour pack behind the passenger seat. Bike was comfortable and rode really nice. Good luck!

Good start. Keep up the good work.
Honda used the V twin 500, to show a push rod motor could run 10,500 revs. Push rods are about one half inch diameter. UK

Well, that blows.

Slight delay picking up a CX500 parts bike.

Service was quick after arriving early & back on the road in @ 1hr from 1st call for service to good to go..
