Hello, my name is Ken and I'm just joining this forum. i bought a beautiful 1994 Intruder VS800 a month ago. It runs great, and rides nice but I have a minor electrical problem. I believe it has a short somewhere. I would driver it for a while, stop and then try to start it and sometimes the indicator lights don't come on. On a few occasions, I moved the handle bars and the lights would come on, then it would start. The last time though, the lights were on, as soon as I pressed the starter button, the lights went out and wouldn't start. This happened three times now the lights won't come on at all. Haven't come on for two days now. Any ideas would be helpful. You can even call me at 216-392-2220. Thanks.

Bad connection somewhere and if battery just now going low or bad it will get worse.

I agree wit amc49, loose connection or you might have a bare wire or connection that has now shorted out. Check you fuses for that possibility as well.

Thanks for the responses. Turns out to have been a loose connection under the seat.
