One of the best resources for Suzuki GS bikes is http://www.thegsresources.com. They have an excellent forum. One of the biggest issues with the GS series is the electrical system, so read up and check your bike. Nothing that would deter me from buying a new bike, but helpful when haggling.

Hi, all;
Just came across an '84 GS450L. Needs a little work...would make a nice project, tho. Anyone have some info on these bikes. Like what to look out for, handling, mpg's, any problems I should be aware of?
I know, I know...I'm looking at several bikes. But, I want to get something I can build up the way I like it and the deal is too good to pass up!
