I've got an 81 Suzuki gs850. I'm trying to figure out how to remove the tailight fairing behind the seat that surrounds the tail light. It's plastic and I really don't want to break it. I just want to custom paint it, but it;s got to be off the bike. Any ideas? I'm kinda new at the bike game.

The best place to look is under tthe fender for screws that hold it to the fender. If it comes up with the seat as the one on my CB does it be bolted to the seat. Sometimes they hide the fasteners.
