I pulled the engine to replace the head gasket, there are 4 head bolts that are recessed what size are they? The rest are 12 millimeter heads, I can't get a socket on these 4 is there a special socket for these.

Also what size and thread is the bolt that holds the front chain sprocket on the shaft mine is missing.

Thanks for the help.

You'll need 12mm and 10mm sockets to get the head off unless someone has changed something on yours. There are 4 smaller bolts under the rubber sealing pucks, which I think is what you're referring to.

IIRC, the bolts which hold the front sprocket on are the same diameter and pitch as the four bolts I referred to above, just much shorter lengths. I could be wrong about that..

Thanks a lot for the reply, those are the 4 bolts I meant. I will try one of them in sprocket shaft while I have the head off.

Thanks again.
