I just brought a 2016 Honda grom it had water mixed with the oil I drained it out and flushed the motor with new oil . Now when I told the clutch in while it's in gear nothing happens .
With the clutch cover off, did you try working the clutch lever? With the lever pull in, could you wiggle the clutch plates back and forth just a little bit? And with the lever out, everything was tight?
Does that bike have a cable operated clutch or is it hydraulic? If it is cable operated, there should be an adjuster on the cable near the clutch lever pivot. That might help.
If its hydraulic, and its been awhile, change the fluid. My Yamaha clutch started slipping a few years ago. New fluid fixed that problem.
