Having an electrical issue on fiancee's 500 - speedometer and nomal odometer function don't work, and neither does the horn. If you press the button on the odometer, it shows the miles, then turns back off. Odometer goes up due to riding, but only displays after button is pressed. Instrument fuse is good. Pulled the main fuse for 15 minutes, didn't help. Any ideas?

It's not still under warranty? With today's electronics all managed by some kind of computer, I'd seek a dealer. Maybe these Street bikes are different but electrical gremlins can be a bear without a computer on board.

Sounds like an interruption in the circuit that sends power to the instrument lights but I don't have a wiring diagram for those bikes so couldn't tell you where to begin looking.

Turned out to be a fuse after all. I guess I checked the wrong ones. All good - fiancee is enjoying her bike again, and the dealer didn't charge much for the fix.
