2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14r

It’s fast, real fast. In and around town it’s docile, on the highway it rolls effortlessly, wide open throttle it’s a missile! It’s a real smooth and fun to ride bike.

  • Two Bothers carbon slip on’s. Nice tone, not to loud.
  • Zero Gravity smoke double bubble wind screen.
  • Helibar 7/8” risers.
  • CRG shorty levers.
  • Keyless fuel inlet cover.
  • T-Rex sliders.
  • Rear seat hard cover.
  • Front axle sliders.
  • Atlas throttle lock.
  • Schnitz Racing ECM reflash. Smooth Throttle, higher RPM.
  • Hyper Sport S22 tires front and rear. About 3k miles left on them.
  • Clear Arizona Title.
  • Kawasaki Traction Control.
  • Owners Manual.
  • Tool kit.
  • 27,508 miles.
  • Included is the original OEM black fairings.

Are you selling it or buying another 2012. Appears to be a nice bike, though you may be limited with that paint job. Not that the flag is not desirable it just some people want factory paint.

Yes they are and I know I'm going to be sad when it goes. But then I have been sad when every bike I have sold (well except for the FJR), but I'll get over it, maybe!

I am seriously thinking of selling all the older Yamahas. I had considered selling the SV1000S but they do not fetch much $$, and I would have to pay a lot more for something more modern, that I would not like.
I could make a long list of bikes that I sold that I would still like to have. 68 Dunstall Norton, older 650 BSA, TL250 Honda, 250 CanAm. Just thunked. Rickman 125 dirt bike. UK

@Unkle Krusty you have had some nice ones. I think the SV1000S is a really nice bike. There are a whole lot of bikes I think are nice, the problem is I haven't the wallet or the space to have them all.
All of those bikes I mentioned have stories to tell.
The SV1000S has the lumpiest engine of my bunch. The SV650 is much smoother. My one, two, three and four cylinder bikes are smoother. But I wanted a big Vtwin. Never had one. It is like a half price Ducati, not as quick as the more modern 4 cylinder bikes, but plenty fast enough. UK

Back in 2005 I had a 2001 (I think that was the year!) Honda VTR1000 Superhawk liter v-twin. It was a thumper and the pipes sounded great at high rpm, but the bike just wasn't anything special, nice bike, but nothing special. About four years ago I tried a Honda VFR800 VTEC V-4. Again nice bike, but wasn't very smooth. It took a small adjustment in my riding style to keep the four valves opening and the single sided swing arm was interesting. It wasn't the thumper of the VTR, but still it wasn't inline four smooth. There also wasn't much torque from a stop had to get the thing rev'ed up about 7K to kick in the other valves and then keep it rev'ed.
