Just curious if anyone uses (or used) mid frame heat deflectors on their bike? Summer is around the corner, and riding in LA is less riding and more sitting around at lights, traffic or in lines for stuff (like state parks theme parks etc).. do these help keeping the heat off ya, or are there other recommendations? Also keep in mind I have lower fairings. Scrabble Word Finder AppLock 7Zip

Are you referring to what is commonly called a crouch cooler? A piece of leather that wraps over the frame just under the front of the saddle. If so, then yes and no. Or maybe a little is better. There is some heat reduction for sure but stopped in traffic you'll still think not. But yes they do work some however you'll want to get going to really get things cooler or install a temperature activated fan. Those also work but one leg is still going to feel the heat when it comes on.
