Greetings & Salutations!!! 👋

The only thing you haven't posted is:

1. measure voltage at RR's output wire. Volts = ???
2. measure voltage at battery's +positive terminal. Volts = ???

What is difference between #1 and #2?

I would say from those readings that RR is definitely dead. As test, with everything off, measure resistance from RR output terminal to ground. Maybe that wire's shorted, would explain zero output to battery. Heat should indicate it's definitely has current flowing through it. If wire's not shorted, then definitely RR

Might also want to test all other wires on RR connector relative to ground. None of stator(yel) wires should have connection to ground. Only one wire on RR should be connected to ground, and that's actually ground-wire.
