FYI on tires for higher mileage,

The Mettler 888 tires I have on my bike have about 9000 miles on them and have a lot of tread depth left after finished riding in November. First time using and ride fine also.

I had Dunlops which are fine tires but could get about 10k which is actually good for a tire in my opinion.

It should be noted these tires have thicker tread and noticed since the front fender and tire were very close to each other but never rubbed. Something to watch for.

Have heard the 888's give much longer life the the 880's .. Might give them a try, but pretty happy with the Michelin Commander II's at this time ...

Back on the road and the mettzlers doing well. Will give a final mileage once they wear out but nice not have to change tires before riding season starts. Its March but nice and warm safe days to drive. Still winter so we'll see how log that lasts.
