hello everyone i am new here and am trying to be come a true bike owner and not just a rider
i recently took my bike out of storage and the battery was dead, my nephew went to jump start it and crossed the cables, i corrected the cables and the bike would not take a charge i took the battery to be tested and it failed so i bought a new one, i still can turn the key and get nothing at all where do i start testing fuses and relays or does some one have any other ideas

Check the fuse box first.

Did you charge the new battery before installing it? Unlike car batteries, motorcycle batteries usually need to be charged at 1-2 amps for a few hours before use.

Jump Start

How was it jump started? Using A car is OK but do not start it since I think it may damage the circuitry. Others can chime in to correct me if needed.
