Just bought a 93' CBR600F2. I bought it pretty cheap so its no wonder there are problems with it, plus i've been reading everywhere that this is a common issue with hondas. The only info ive found online so far say it could be the rec/reg, which it has a new one and it seems like somebody already dug into it and spliced new wires to make the new r/r work. It seems like the cheap ebay/amazon one but I havent tested it yet. I also dont know how to test a r/r. Some other places are saying its the battery, but I charged the battery and it starts right up but runs completely on the battery until it dies. Some other places are saying it could be the stator, which I also have no clue how to check. Does anybody have any experience with this or any solutions on how to fix it?
