Hi Everyone,
I have a 1985 Honda Nighthawk S (CB700SC) with LOW, LOW miles on it which I bought new.
It sat for a few years.
I cleaned the carbs twice now but barely runs. It idles and runs at high RPMs but the mid range it bogs down.
(Not even worth riding this way).
Is there a fix or just get a different set of carbs? HELP!
Thanks! Kevin

What do you mean by cleaned the carbs twice? What did you do exactly to clean the carbs? A complete tear down and ultrasonic cleaning or Seafoam in the fuel tank? Mid range works from the needle jet / jet needle 1/4 to 3/4 throttle. if the needle has dried fuel on it and the very small holes in the sides of the jet are clogged you can't match the air coming in through the venturi.
