Hello ! I have a mint restored nighthawk blue and black 700 , it runs great and idles great doesn't skip a beat revs right up to redline if you want no problem in neutral sitting still but if I ride it ,it stumbles at like 6-8 wide open and won't go past,no matter what I do with throttle , seems to be electrical I heard from a friend it is most likely pick up coils ,it has a new battery and charges good,it seems like it's kind of gutless to drive and is a struggle to get to over 55mph ,what could this be ? Any past experience? Please help !
Thanks !!,Tyler

My guess is that it is starving for fuel. Make sure there are no obstructions in the petcock/fuel lines/float valves.

That would be my first guess, too. Any changes from stock in the intake, exhaust, carb areas?

Why do you think it could be electrical?
