So for the past few days the bike will start and run fine but when I start it up after 30 min to an hr after it's ran, the rpms go up but it's not turning. After taking the side ferring off, I saw the ground wire was connected to nothing, so I connected it neck to the black wiring to the battery. Still nothing happens. Any help would be nice! Also it had a full tank of gas.
The battery is good too because I bought it with a new battery, the lights are fine, and my sound system turns on, and I use a toggle switch so it doesn't drain
I also installed a sound system to the circular fuse on the right side under the ferring (starter or ignition fuse I'm assuming). I attached a toggle switch to the sound system to turn it off so it doesn't drain the battery as well.

Any help is appreciated.

I would start with the work you have done, remove it and go back to stock and see what happens.

If you don't want to do that get the service manual, use the wire chart and a multi-meter and test everything, especially where you added stuff to it

Did that already and I tested the battery and checked connections. Connections looked fine minus ground that came out, so I fixed that. But now the bike doesn't even click to try to start and the headlight doesn't come on. I tested the battery at 10.13 to 10.37 v.

A 12 volt battery is dead at 12 volts.

You can try charging it or replace it. Once you have a good battery test everything again.

My plan was to get a trickle charger today and charge it to see, then if not, replace the battery. Thank you for your help sir. I really appreciate it as I am new to anything mechanical/ electrical on bikes
