I have been riding dirt bikes off and on since I was a kid. I got the itch for a street bike and I bought an 82 cb900f. This thing idles at about 2500-3000 once it gets warmed up. I don't think there is a vacuum leak anywhere but I can't seem to find the idle control screw. I was sure it would be on the left side near the top of the outside carb but there is just a beveled opening that seems to be rusted. Either the screw has been torqued off or the idle control is somewhere else on this bike. Can anyone help me? Thanks...

Yeah, it varies. Sometimes it will be perfect but others it feels like the engine is about to scream, which is usually the case after it gets warmed up which makes me think that the idle control screw needs to be tightened.
