Hi, I've got a 1980 Yamaha 175 Dirtbike and need help. I can't find the model anywhere, all that i can find is the serial number and the date on it. I want to get this bike running really well and have some fun on it. Its got some big meaty tires and looks like it'll be lots of fun. I need the manual for it too...any help would be great!!!

i had this same problem recently with an older ('78 i think) yamaha 175
If you post a photo, i could help out more, but it is probably an IT 157 i think. Is it a street legal model? if so, it is probably a DT 175. Just google those too, and you should come up with some more photos to help you out. Once you find out which one, you can just hop on ebay and probably find manuals.
