I have a 1980 Honda 900 CB and the neutral light stays on all the time. I purchased the neutral indicator switch but I am unable to get the oil pump cover off of the motorcycle to get to where the switch is. I have removed eight screws but it still seems like I haven't removed any screws, it hasn't even loosened up. The book doesn't help me much, can anyone help me with trying to get this switch replaced?

The 8 bolts holding the cover on should be about it however, sometimes the gasket can stop the thing from breaking free. Repeatedly tap the cover on the top, bottom and sides to break the gasket seal using a plastic or leather headed hammer. Never use a steel hammer. Should do the trick.
