If I get a lithium battery will I also need new ignition coils, wire harness or battery box wire set up? Or can I use the same stock battery box and coils?
Thanks guys ill take any info I can get

If you get a lithium battery made for motorcycles, then no. The biggest issue is that old-school charging system. If you can find a modern replacement, it would be better for the battery.
The question I have is, why? A good quality AGM type battery will work better with your existing system, and last five years, or more, if maintained.

And an AGM won't be sensitive to cold environs like lithium.

I was thinking about relocating the battery to have that empty triangle look under the seat. But if the bike would run better with the original style battery, I'll just keep it the way it is.
