It depends on how hard they looked. The tags would have to match the VIN number, so if they checked the VIN there could be consequences.
I need more input. What is the make and model of the two wheeled unit? Does it have pedals? Where are you? What are the rules wherever you are?Would cops really know the difference??
https://www.drivinglaws.org/resources/driving-without-a-license-north-carolina.htmI wonder how much the fines for riding without a license and impound fees are in North Carolina. Let us know when you find out.
Man up and be responsible. Get your license, motorcycle endorsement, registration, and insurance.... I’m in the state of North Carolina. I do not have my motorcycle endorsement, even a drivers license.. so I planned on simply taking the tag off my Jonway rocket and putting it on the 125cc and no, I don’t plan on taking any interstates.
Guy is a complete scooter Mod rebel! Also throws dealerships under the bus, too. This thread is the greatest I've seen in a long time.Just went to 2 different shops including Kevin Powell, Charlotte scooter shop and called a place in SC close to me and they all have told me 90% of their customers with 125’s and 150’s all slap a moped tag on it and never get bothered.
The cop who busts you will.Would cops really know the difference??
