My zx6r is leaking gas from the #1 left carburetor. I've had the carbs cleaned, the floats are good, all lines are connected etc... Weird thing is, when the tank is not connected, the bike still runs for a few, but no gas is leaking at this time. When the tank is back on, the carburetor starts to leak again. All seals are tight, no cracks in bowl. HELP!!! PLEASE!!!! How can I fix this? what can be the problem?

The float is sticking, mis-adjusted, or the float valve is defective. When you don't have the tank connected, it won't leak because no new fuel is entering the bowl chamber to overflow it.

I went inside yesterday, and the float isn't sticking. everything seems to be in tact. What else can be the issue

^^^ There it is.

The only other things I could think of would be a mis-adjusted float, or someone left the float bowl drain screw open, if it has one.
