ok i have a 01' gsxr 600. last fall i had been riding w/ i broken rectifier. this summer i had replaced it but now every time in 6th gear at 10r's the whole computer shuts down. (which kills the motor but it starts right up again.) it doesn't seem to matter how fast i'm going. and yesterday rapping through the gears (redline) i got it up to 170mph but again it cut out. and the day before just crusing it did it again @ 125mph it just keeps happening in 6th gear @ 10,ooo/rpm's. can someone please help me figure this out.

That might be a rev or speed limiter built in to the bike being it happens at a certain RPM.
