My first bike (at age 64!)

How did you get a Permit with all the DOL/DMV closing?

I got in 'just' in time, right before the pandemic really took hold!

Take courses soon as you can. I started off that way even though I had been riding Yamaha dirt bikes (mildly, nothing crazy) my whole life. I plan to take experienced riding courses asap. Been riding cruisers 10 years. Always trying to learn, practice, & ride my own ride. The day i think I know it all, I'll be in big trouble. I think it is AWESOME that you acted on your desire... to bad covid-19 messed up your getting a licence the normal way,here in Pennsylvania,the united states you take 3 motorcycle safety courses in one week about 6 hours each and they give you your motorcycle licence if you pass.maybe your riding now at 64 because your in the winter of your years and it's the last chance to feel that sense of freedom that only a bike can bring
