Just imagine reliving a portion of your youth riding this ICON of motorcycling from the past but with modern components! For very close to $5,000 you can get new, smaller and lighter and economical bikes like the Ninja 400, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda CB500 equivalents, in the twin cylinder 300 to 500cc range. NEW is better especially with your 100+- daily commute and warranty coverage is a huge plus. The...

Welcome to a great forum Longhaul:) It takes TIME to safely learn how to DRIVE a sidecar rig so if you make that decision, give yourself some time before you put both of your lives at risk:) I had a brand new Yamaha XS1100 in 1981 and had the best sidecar available, the URAL professionally...

I'll tell ya, after watching the video, I am in LUST :) I can't wait to see the different examples that actually reach the streets but for me: Obviously more front end travel, a straight and comfy seat, a nice luggage rack, cruise control, small turn indicators, large mirrors, an air cleaner...

Or try to stay out of 'De Ghetto,' in de furst place! And you know where they are--right Bra??? In the fall and winter I have no problem conceal carrying my Rossi, snubbie 357 Mag, stainless steel, wheel gun or my Sig Sauer P320 Military, under thick clothing but I'm to 'CHUBBY' (Be nice) to...
  17. Oh mein Gott, das ist groß

    BMW
Aside from my 2010 Buell Superbike, out of all the bikes I've owned, all ran just fine on lower octane fuel, such as 87. In a Fuel injected and modern computer controlled engine, sensors and electronics will retard the timing if a 'knock' or pre- ignition detonation happens and all will be well...
  18. Oh mein Gott, das ist groß

    BMW
I've had 5 Beemer's and I love the brand but they can be durn expensive and the nearest dealer is 50 miles away! I really like the ease of maintenance of the 'R' series bikes with everything easy to get to.:) Sam
  19. Oh mein Gott, das ist groß

I can't wait to see what it looks like in person. Screw and lock-nut valve adjustment with those Dolly Parten jugs sticking right out on the sides! Shaft drive. 1800cc's of low end torque! I just hope the gas tank is at least 5 to 6 gallons.

    Riders and the Law
Illegal alien's surely won't have to go through this, right? How unfair to make them leap another hurdle :) Our DMV in town is a model of efficiency, with very helpful and friendly local folks working there and taking a number is rarely required and the wait is never longer than 10 minutes...
