Wow...its funny that you posted this because I litterally JUST bought this bike (1996 Yamaha FZR 600R) as my first time bike. In any case...I kinda of doubt it. I have a 2008 Durango and I don't really seeing it fitting into that (especially not safely without being too close to the driver). And I would imagine that the durango is longer than the cherokee.

I guess really the best way to figure it out is to measure up.

The way I transported mine was I had my father-in-law drive it in 24 degree weather...on the highway. This man must love me.

No. The bike will likely be too tall. You can rent motorcycle trailers at some U-Haul locations.

If you're buying it from a dealership, ask if they'll deliver. My dad had his bike delivered at no charge by the dealership, and when I bought mine, they offered to deliver it.

if you remove the front wheel and forks, and the rear wheel, and fold the back seats down, I think it could fit.

It might fit laid over on it's side. I wouldn't recommend doing that though, since something expensive is bound to break in transit and probably cost more than just buying a used trailer.

And you'd still need to take a can-opener to the top of the Jeep.

$35 too rich for your blood? That's how much it is for a trailer

Not going to happen, it can be done with a mini van, or like was said earlier, just rent a trailer or truck from Uhaul.

By the way, I just looked at Uhaul's rates for a motorcycle trailer... $14.95 for 6 hours, at least around where I am. If you're too cheap for that......

rofl...very nice. Looks like it is raining in that picture. So much for "planning ahead".

On topic though...I just really don't see this happening without a truck/trailer or something to that effect. In either case...let me know how it goes incase I ever need ideas on moving mine.

How about buying a trailer hitch motorcycle mount?
You could also use it for your dirt bikes.
