Default 1992 Honda Nighthawk 750

Just finished up the MSF course and looking to pick up my first bike. I came across a posting for a 92 Honda Nighthawk 750 for $1300 on craigslist. I rode a 250 in the MSF course and really liked it. But being a complete noob I'm wondering if this is going to be too much bike for me, thoughts? Thanks for any advice!

It is a heavy scooter but, with only 50 HP, I think you will be fine.

Sounds like a great deal, I'm on a 700 and it's not too much, and the Nighthawk is a tad heavier, of course it has a 4cyl engine vs my V-Twin.

Still I think it sounds like a good choice.

I've always thought the Nighthawk 750s made more like 70-80 HP.

The 550cc inline-4s, i.e. Nighthawk 550, KZ550, GS550, made around 50 HP.

Well, unfortunately the person selling the bike never responded when I asked for more info, pics, etc. Looks like i'm back on the hunt. Thanks for the advice everyone!
